2. Mechanical Cleaning

A professional will use fine steel wool or a specialized metal polishing pad to gently—but firmly—work the surface, removing the remaining stains and discoloration. This step requires careful pressure to ensure the carbon is removed without introducing new scratches to the delicate chrome or brushed finish.

This is where the magic happens. A metal polish is applied with a soft microfiber applicator. The polish contains micro-abrasive compounds that restore the metal’s reflective properties and eliminate any fine scratches introduced during the cleaning process.
